We offer a return of Products ordered on MAYA within 10 days of despatch of the order if the products are found to have manufacturing defects. At the time of placing the order either physically or through our website, we assume you have carefully studied the products, their characteristics, price, taxes, packing, and shipping costs. Return of products for reasons of color variation as compared to product photos on the website are not allowed.
Nature of handloom products is such that the hand-weaving process produces minor imperfections such as knots, irregularity in dyed edges, missing woven lines and slightly imperfect proportions, variations in colours, non-uniformity of dimensions, and a whole lot of other features; such imperfections are what characterize handloom weaving and are not considered as ‘manufacturing defects.’
In case you intend to return a Product, we only ask that you don’t use the product and preserve its original condition and retain original folding, tags, packing, and the original invoice.
In case products arrive at your end with transit damage, you are required to share with us some pictures of the package “as-is” i.e., unopened, clearly showing the courier receipts and labels, as proof of damage. In such a case, we request you not to open the parcel but return it “as-is” and we shall refund the original cost plus pay the cost of re-packing and courier charges.
All returned products are verified for the above aspects to qualify for a refund. We will process your refunds within 7 business days from the date of return-receipt of the Product at MAYA. The refund is subject to the transaction and processing time taken by the bank after payment by MAYA. In case of any refund discrepancies, MAYA may at its sole discretion, request you to share with us a screenshot of your bank statement on your computer.
How does Refund work?
Irrespective of the original mode of payment, refunds are made only to your bank account. Please provide full details of your bank account accurately through email / WhatsApp message to enable us to initiate a refund. Packing and shipping charges and any cost other than the cost of basic products including tax are not refunded.
Am I entitled to a refund if I have shopped during a promotion or on a discount offer?
Sorry, but no, you will not be entitled to a return/refund if the product is purchased during a promotion or discount offer.
